Privacy information

BrisBid Auto uses the information you provide to assess and respond to your enquiry. This may include your name, phone number, email, suburb and information about the vehicle or equipment you want to sell.

How information is used

Your enquiry details help us assess the item, contact you and discuss an inspection, collection or sale. Information relevant to a completed transaction may also be needed for business records.

Website quote form

The form uses Web3Forms to process your request and send it to the BrisBid Auto quote inbox. This involves processing by that service and our email provider. An on-screen confirmation means the form service accepted the request; it is not an offer to buy your vehicle.

The form does not need a copy of your driver’s licence, bank details or other identity documents. Please do not include them in your initial enquiry. If we need further information for a transaction, we will discuss it with you directly.

How customers find us

If you submit a quote, we may include a recognised source label, such as Google or ChatGPT, from the current page’s referral information or campaign link. We also receive your optional answer to “How did you hear about us?”. We use these to understand where enquiries come from. This feature does not store tracking cookies, send your full referring URL or record visits that do not submit a form. Source information can be unavailable or incomplete.

Car-selling checklist

The readiness checker’s selections are held on the page while you use it. They are not sent to BrisBid Auto, and they reset when the page is reloaded.
